There is no advance against royalties paid to the author but the royalty payments are much higher, in most cases, than what the self-publishing companies promise and they are paid on the first book sold.

Editorial costs are more than half of the total publishing expense which is as it should be. This is editing by excellent editors with years of experience at top publishing houses in New York City and London; our copy editors are the best. FEDORA PRESS is very proud of its art director. Cover design and cover art, formatting of the manuscript for printing, the securing of an ISBN number and copyright registration are services provided. The author is responsible for providing a hard copy of the final manuscript to FP which will be sent to the U.S. copyright office. E-book formatting and submissions are done for the author.

Publishing fees* are:

US dollars 9,000

*This fee is for a book of approximately 75,000 to 85,000 words which is considered the length of the average novel today.  Longer books are more time-connsuming to edit and more expensive to print.

Scanning previously published books will be less expensive. Fees for books with photographs or illustrations will also be a different price. The publication of any short manuscript can be undertaken. Please contact us to discuss your particular situation. FEDORA PRESS gives every project individual attention.

The book will be sold on the websites of the largest book wholesalers in the world including Amazon, Baker & Taylor, Ingram, Barnes & Noble, and Books-a-Million.

Strategic marketing advice is available. FEDORA PRESS can recommend webmasters to create a website for the author and his book or books. This website may be linked to Facebook and Twitter for more exposure. An experienced publicist can be hired to arrange radio and television interviews. Marketing is evolving every day and FEDORA PRESS will evolve, too.

Possibilities for marketing, for sheer fun, are countless!
